The Trustees and Governors are seeking to appoint an ambitious, innovative and outstanding Group Learning Resources and Libraries Manager to develop, oversee and promote an exceptional library service to our pupils and staff across the Primary and Secondary schools. Your role would cover key school priorities which include:
• Stock selection and management
• Reading development and engagement
• Promotion of Independent Learning/Information Skills
• Line management responsibilities.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate exceptional leadership and management skills to achieve the following:
• Continue to raise standards and improve educational opportunities for our students
• Collaborating with the Director of Literacy to develop the school’s Reading for Pleasure programme
• Be able to lead our Libraries in an imaginative and motivational way
• Motivate, inspire and support all of our staff, and work closely with governors, Headteacher, parents and the local community
