Vision for Education are seeking to employ a SEND Teacher from September 2020 to work in a long-term role in a SEND school in the Newcastle local authority. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum qualification required for this position is a PGCE.
The role
As part our commitment to quality, we are seeking passionate, flexible and dedicated SEND teachers to accompany our attitude and work on one of our guaranteed pay schemes. This position requires you to teach several subjects to students with a range of learning difficulties and/or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. We are prepared to offer a guaranteed supply contract to a SEND teacher that we believe will help accelerate the learning of the children in the schools and alternative provisions we work with.
Requirements
To be considered for securing a Guaranteed Pay Scheme, you will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have recent experience teaching students who SEND.
- Have a current driving license and full access to a car.
- Be available 5 full days per week and prepared to travel up to 45-60 minutes.
- Have a strong presence in the classroom and behaviour management strategies.
