Salary is dependant on experience, training or qualifications. We would require you to have Team teach training or be willing to attend this course with Vision for Education. We also require experience within the last 2 years within a professional setting working with specific needs.

Vision for Education are currently recruiting for spaces on our guaranteed work scheme in the West Yorkshire area. Due to success in securing permanent posts for many of our staff, with more than ever finding their ideal role through Vision for Education, plus an increasing demand to work with new settings across the Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield area, we have a rare opening on our coveted guaranteed work scheme for an outstanding candidate. The Requirements for this Guaranteed Work Scheme – Pru Inclusion worker role:

Experience and aptitude to work with young people experiencing difficulties in their education and potentially, life outside of school. This experience may have been gained within any of the following environments and contexts (not exhaustive)

Mental Health Working; Care; Youth Work; Student Placements with children, young people or vulnerable adults; Teaching Assistant Work; Cover Supervisor Work; 1:1 or 2:1 Support Work, Residential Working; Social Work; SEND work; Experience working with children or adults with Autism diagnosis and more.

The ability to connect and build excellent working relationships, acting as an exceptional role model to young people

Commit to the highest standards of working and professionalism and obtain consistently excellent feedback

Flexibility in your approach work, willingness to work across settings in the Kirklees and Wakefield area (to be discussed on a person to person, individual basis)

Access to your own transport at all times

A positive, professional and student centred outlook

Adaptability to differing working practices

Open to long and short term working

Full time availability 5 days per week all academic year 8.30am -4.30pm
