Allfarthing is a popular two form entry primary school in the heart of Wandsworth Town excellence across the curriculum. Our school motto 'Excellence for All' permeates through every aspect of school life, both inside and outside the classroom and music is a key part of this. 

Current music provision includes:

• vocal projects and whole class teaching through Wandsworth Schools’ Music,

• key stage 2 guitar, drumming, and woodwind lessons,

• Chamber Choir, Wind Band and Guitar Ensemb3le. 

Our current guitar teacher is stepping down after seven years in the post and we are looking for a new teacher from September. Applicants will be expected to:

• teach the acoustic and electric guitar to groups of up to 6 children,

• provide an excellent example of performing ability and musicianship

• develop learners’ confidence and encourage regular practice,

• co-lead the Guitar Ensemble with our existing drumming teacher.

The school has excellent transport links with Wandsworth Town, Clapham Junction and Earlsfield mainline stations easily accessible and on-site parking.
