Job overview
Due to the continued expansion of our College apprenticeship provision, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Business Development Centre to coordinate the delivery of our Health & Social Care Apprenticeships.
You will lead and develop the Health & Social Care apprenticeship programmes, which includes Levels 2 and 3 Health Apprenticeships, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of the programmes and for the efficient and effective allocation of resources, including staffing. You will work with the NHS to help develop and deliver relevant courses and be responsible for the attainment of key performance indicators relating to enrolment, retention and timely success.
The ideal candidate will have as a minimum a level 3 qualification in health and social care combined with substantial teaching experience at Level 1-3 in Nursing or Health and Social Care related subjects. A Cert Ed or equivalent is also essential combined with experience of delivering and assessing competence-based training in the workplace and college environment and contributing to programme and curriculum management. Possession of an A1 and V1 Assessor Award is desirable.
