Job Description
• To support and teach students enrolled on the Musical Theatre Performance degree course
• To support Production Modules in the capacity of musical direction
• To work as audition accompanist
• To provide 1-2-1 repertoire support
• To provide musical direction advice and guidance for module content and enrichment opportunities
Personal Specification
• Honours degree in singing, vocal, music or associated study, or extensive experience of vocal practice
• A recognised singing qualification
• Committee to vocal health development
• Secure knowledge of vocal anatomy and vocal function
• Ability to recognise issues with the voice
• Industry experience
• Accomplished pianist and sight reader
The Role
This is a part-time (3 days) fixed-term (2 months, to the summer term) position to start in January 2023. The deadline for applications is Monday 28th November 2022 with a view to interviewing that/the next week.
The successful candidate will be subject to employment checks, including DBS and reference checks and will be provided with safeguarding training.
