Sarum Hall is now seeking an inspiring senior educational leader to take up the post of Head. The school has had only seven Heads over the course of its 92-year history, and the next Head will continue this tradition of dedicated, dynamic and visible leadership in this vibrant school community. The Head will work in partnership with senior staff, the Bursar, and Governors to implement and build on the school’s strategic development plan and oversee the day-to-day running of the school. They will determine the curriculum for the school, maintaining Sarum Hall’s excellent teaching and learning provision alongside its success in activities including music, art, drama, sport, coding and Mandarin. The Head will play a crucial role in monitoring pupil progress, overseeing the delivery of high-quality pastoral care and working with senior schools to ensure positive outcomes for leavers.

The successful candidate will be a perceptive and creative leader with a management style that values the contributions of others and inspires staff to fulfil the school’s vision and strategic objectives. They will display a commitment to the school’s ethos and the current learning environment, which is exciting, rewarding and purposeful, encouraging high calibre staff to deliver excellence. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of senior management in a comparable environment and will demonstrate the ability to think and work at a strategic level. They will be passionate about girls’ education, and able to inspire pupils to be the best they can be.
