Eton End School is a successful, independent, co-educational IAPS prep school with pupils from Nursery to Year 6, situated in six acres of semi-wooded land between Datchet and Eton.

It prides itself on being a family school which maintains a friendly, caring ethos while at the same time achieving high standards and outstanding academic successes. 

The Governors are seeking to appoint an inspirational Head to lead the school through the next stage of its history and development. Eton End has exciting plans for the future as, from September 2017, it begins the transition to full co-education. The boys in Year 3 will now remain at the school until the end of Year 6 and those in the lower years will follow on until 2020 when the school will be fully co-educational. 

The school celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2016 with a wide variety of very successful events and activities. The school was inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate in May 2016 and was found to be fully compliant with all the required regulations. The inspectors also reported on the school’s academic results, saying ‘in the years 2012 – 2014, the results have been exceptional when compared against the national average for girls’. 

The successful candidate will be passionate about providing an excellent, broad-based education and enabling all pupils to achieve their potential whilst enjoying their childhood. He or she will have the personal qualities to lead, motivate and inspire a dedicated and talented teaching staff as well as strong academic qualifications and experience of successful leadership and management.
