A winner of The Sunday Times ‘Independent Prep School of The Year’ award and having received an ‘exceptional’ rating by The Independent Schools Inspectorate in 2015, Kensington Prep is regarded as one of the leading preparatory schools in London and across the country.  The School is also a member of the Independent Association of Prep Schools (IAPS).

Opened in 1873 as the first school to be established by The Girls’ Day School Trust, Kensington Prep today educates 290 day girls aged 4 – 11.  The School combines its proud traditions with truly innovative teaching to produce exceptional academic results which allow its girls to take up places at the leading London day schools.
