Head Groundsman

Rokeby is an Independent day school for boys aged 4 – 13 based on a private estate in Kingston upon Thames. Rokeby’s sports ground is on a 10 acre site at Worcester Park. Rokeby also maintains an additional 10 acre sports field adjacent to its own sports ground.

We are currently recruiting for the position of Head Groundsman. This person will need to be experienced in sports ground maintenance for cricket, rugby and football, with the ability to maintain three cricket squares to a high standard as well as some horticulture and arboriculture knowledge. The applicant will be required to manage one member of staff. Hours of work are 7.00am – 3.30pm. Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation relating to grounds equipment and maintenance will also be required. There is no tied accommodation provided with this position.
