Horris Hill is now seeking an experienced Head or Senior Leader who can articulate the vision for the school and has a track record of success in an academically rigorous prep school environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Head who, whilst valuing the traditions and history of the school, will bring Horris Hill into a new and exciting chapter. The Head will have considerable autonomy to shape strategic direction for Horris Hill, building on the school’s considerable success and working with Forfar Education to implement significant changes in the estate and team structure.

The successful candidate will have a perceptive, creative leadership and management style, and a thorough understanding of recent educational developments affecting the whole 4 to 13 age range. Additionally, they will have a good working knowledge of the senior school landscape. Previous experience working with senior schools to place pupils would be advantageous. They will have excellent interpersonal skills and the credibility to build and maintain relationships with top senior schools. The successful candidate will be passionate about and experienced in boarding education, a hands-on team player, and have a proven track record of setting and delivering school strategy.
