Newcastle High School for Girls opened in September 2014, following the merger of two well-established and highly successful girls’ schools in the city. As part of the Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST), the UK’s leading group of independent girls’ schools, Newcastle High is now able to offer an unrivalled educational opportunity for girls in the North East of England. Situated across two sites in Jesmond and one in Sandyford, Newcastle High School has undergone significant redevelopment and now provides outstanding facilities for its community of bright, curious and creative pupils.
