Wybers Wood Academy are looking to appoint a dynamic, inspirational, hard-working Head of Academy to lead our school and to continue to drive forward our success with effect from April 2020 following the retirement of our current head teacher. You will be responsible for all aspects of the internal organisation, professional leadership, management and control of the school and for leading supervision over teaching and support staff in accordance with Instrument of Government.
Wybers Wood is a large primary with just over 400 pupils (aged from 4 to 11) on roll where excellent attainment and progress for pupils are consistently maintained. We take great pride in creating a warm and friendly environment and a positive culture for learning so that our children are given opportunities to excel. We place great emphasis on the social and emotional development of our pupils, alongside the encouragement of a love for learning so they can achieve their full potential academically.
Wybers Wood is proud to hold the Gold Sportsmark and a Silver Artsmark. Our pupils excel in sports and are confident and articulate performers as a result of our broad curriculum which has a strong emphasis on health, oracy and confidence.
