Job overview

Head of Admission, Marketing & Communication

This is a rare and wonderful opportunity to become a founding member of our new Marketing Admissions & Development Team. Our school has a unique, strong and successful ethos which enables every child to discover, explore, develop and enjoy their own interests, passions and abilities.  Staff nurture, support and encourage, whilst parents enthuse about the education and care their children enjoy.  We celebrate childhood, allowing our children to flourish at their own pace and enjoy the successes that brings.

Our MAD Team will be an integral part of our Staff, celebrating, promoting and marketing Dallington life in all its creative glory to both current and prospective families, reaching out to those families who are looking for an alternative to the mainstream, building relations with our alumni and welcoming new families to our community.  Come and be part of something truly special.

About Dallington School

A family-run, independent, co-educational day school for children aged 3 to 11, in the heart of London

We offer a curriculum which is broad and balanced to a non-selective and co-educational intake. We aim to provide for each child, a happy, secure and stimulating environment, that promotes discovery and observation and values a love of learning.  Our children address teachers by their first names and do not wear a uniform.  The children in our Nurseries are taught by qualified teachers working with NVQ3 qualified assistants.

We encourage our children to become confident and enthusiastic learners. Our children work and play together in a co-operative, supportive way and great emphasis is placed on nurturing the development of the powers of reasoning, reflective and critical thinking. We provide an environment where children can openly relate to others and expect to be listened to and respected for their points of view.

The school is widely creative and the children are encouraged to assume responsibility in a self-regulated, purposeful way.  Art, design and technology, music and dance are strong elements of the curriculum which run throughout the school.  Children are also introduced to a variety of activities taught by specialist teachers including Singing and Circus Skills from the age of three, Drama, French, Swimming and Sports from the age of four, Recorder and Kodaly Method from the age of five and Ukulele from the age of six.

Dallington was founded in 1978 by Mogg Hercules.
