The Brighton College Abu Dhabi seeks to appoint an outstanding applicant as the Head of Art for September 2020.

The successful candidate will  work closely with the Senior School Head of Department and the Pre-Prep leaders to develop and consolidate the subject within the College.  S/he should be an adaptable and innovative leader, a good motivator, communicator and administrator, and should be capable of managing key aspects of an expanding and high-profile British International School. S/he should be able to provide professional leadership and guidance of academic and pastoral matters to enable the effective development of the department.

Brighton College Abu Dhabi, the sister school of Brighton College UK, is a leading Independent British International School located in the United Arab Emirates.  Founded in 2011 at a prime location on Abu Dhabi Island on a purpose-built state-of-the-art campus.

Mixed state school Brighton College Abu Dhabi educates around 1,650 pupils aged between three and 18 across its Pre-Prep, Prep and Senior schools. A Sixth Form (Year 12) opened in September 2014. Based on Abu Dhabi Island in a purpose-built campus next to Khalifa Park the has 144 academic staff and more than 100 support staff. It was the first of Brighton College UK’s sister schools in the United Arab Emirates, joined in September 2013 by Brighton College Al Ain.
