Since being appointed as the Head of Longfield, the Academy has demonstrated significant progress towards becoming a good school. Our February monitoring visit stated:  Staff recognise the improvements in pupils’ behaviour and now feel well supported by leaders. Pupils feel safe at school. Staff said the school is well led by the new headteacher ... leaders are clear about the actions they are taking One member of staff said, “it feels like we are a team again.” 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead our Art and Design and Photography Department. You will be a creative, adaptable and dedicated specialist with high aspirations and a love of Art which will enable you deliver creative lessons to inspire pupils. In addition, you will have a demonstrable track record as an excellent classroom practitioner to ensure pupils meet or exceed expected progress.
