Beaconsfield High School, an outstanding girls’ grammar school, has a rare opportunity for an energetic, highly motivated Head of Art with the vision and ambition to inspire and enthuse our students.
As a school we strongly invest in the creative subjects and it is compulsory for our students to opt for a creative subject at GCSE thus demonstrating the importance that we place on creativity within such an academic setting.
Our Head of Art will take responsibility for teaching across all Key Stages and will help us to broaden the experiences for our students in Art. We are open to ideas that inspire and help our students to enjoy the subject as much as possible and as such are looking for a candidate who can put together a strong vision for how they would like art to develop in the future. As a school we are invested in the creative subjects, and have large numbers of students taking art at GCSE and A’ Level.
It may be that you want to come and see for yourself. If so, we are very happy to welcome you and show you what we do and for you to ask any questions. However, we recognise that this is a busy time of the year for you and your students and so understand if this is not possible. If invited to interview you will be given a tour of the school and an opportunity to ask questions then.
To arrange a visit, or for additional information, please contact Paul Garrett–Chapman via firstname.lastname@example.org
Closing date: 28 January 2019
Interview date: 6 February 2019
Beaconsfield High School is committed to safeguarding the welfare of all of its students and staff. The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references. We welcome applications from all suitably qualified teachers regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or religion.
