Ipswich Academy, part of Paradigm Trust, is seeking to appoint an inspirational, well qualified and motivated Head of Art with a track record of achieving outstanding outcomes. The position would be an excellent opportunity for an existing Head of Art, or an experienced Teacher of Art to take on a new challenge of leading this subject, or for an individual who is relatively new to the profession with the potential to move to senior leadership.

This is a full time position but part time hours would be considered for the right candidate.
The Position
As Head of Art at Ipswich Academy, you will support, develop and lead a team of teachers within your department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
What you will offer
The successful candidate will have the drive ability to provide effective curriculum planning and implementation of Art across all key stages. You will be responsible for managing the work of all staff in your department, ensuring through consistent implementation, that the academy meets all of its obligations to staff and pupils.

About Ipswich Academy
Ipswich Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school in Suffolk, serving students from the age of 11-16. It belongs to the Paradigm Trust, along with four other primary and secondary academies.
Formerly Holywell High School, Ipswich Academy converted to academy status in 2010. The Learning Schools Trust invested £16 million into a new building at the school, which opened in 2013, with facilities including a 3G sports pitch area. It belongs to the Paradigm Trust, along with six other academies.
