Head of Art/Teacher of Art

The College invites applications from well-qualified and enthusiastic A level Art teachers. We are currently advertising for both a Head of Art and an Art Teacher simultaneously; however, there will be just one position available. This is because our current Head of Art is interested in stepping down from the Head of Department role to focus on teaching. This will depend on the applications we receive.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a friendly and successful team, which consists of an Art Technician.

Salaries will be on the sixth form college teachers’ salary scale between £27,264 and £41,732 depending on experience, plus £2,729 London Weighting, per annum. In addition, if appointed as Head of Department, you will be paid a responsibility allowance in the range of £2,186 (RA4) – £4,373 (RA8) per annum, depending on experience.
