Governors seek to appoint a dynamic, talented and enthusiastic candidate to lead our Art Department from September 2016. This is a full time, permanent post with our DT/Art faculty. The successful candidate will be joining a good department, and a School that is characterised by the ambition and desire transform ‘good’ into ‘great’.

This post presents and ideal first responsibility for a good and ambitious candidate.

We are a Good school (Ofsted; November 2014), which through its distinctive Christian character, is Outstanding at meeting the needs of all learners (SIAMS; November 2015). There is a real desire and drive within the school to transform good to great.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher who can evidence their suitability for this post.

You will have:
• Excellent classroom practice
• Commitment to the teaching of Art and its associated subjects;
• Some leadership experience and potential for promoted responsibility;
• Experience that equips you for the challenges of this post.
• Experience of teaching across KS3 to KS5
• Ability to teach another subject

Welcome to the Holy Trinity Church of England Secondary School. We are a Voluntary Aided Church school with a rich history and a reputation for excellence.  

The school was opened in 1969 by the Queen and is believed to be the first purpose built Church of England comprehensive school in the country. Today it is an over-subscribed and vibrant multi-faith, multi-cultural school serving three deaneries of Cuckfield, East Grinstead and Horsham, and the community of Crawley, providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. This is a happy school where faith is valued and which is underpinned by core Christian values of mutual respect and compassion based on the Gospel of Christ.
