For an experienced and well-qualified Biology specialist, this is a unique opportunity to progress your career - stepping into a lead role in a large, well-resourced and successful Biology department.
You will work closely with the Head of Science to coordinate the teaching and assessment of Biology, one of our most popular subjects. This will include managing a growing A level cohort and contributing to the university preparation process. Teaching across the age range from year 7 integrated science up to A level Biology, you will be committed to ensuring Biology is both exciting and relevant for students at all levels. Your role will include tutor responsibilities, and participation in the organisation and running of a diverse range of enrichment and co-curricular activities.
