Science is a popular and successful subject with a large proportion of students opting to study the three seperate sciences at GCSE level. Teachers tend to teach in their specialism from KS4 upwards to improve continuity and progression to A-level.
All science teaching takes place in one of the 15 dedicated science laboratories, with teachers usually operating from their own laboratory. This is supported by 5 highly skilled and experienced technicians and a dedicated Science HLTA. The science faculty teaching staff is made up of 14 supportive, experienced teachers.
