An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and committed Sports Teacher to join our busy school and play a key role in providing comprehensive and highly competent support to the Head of Sport.

We are seeking a first-class practitioner and qualified teacher with a high degree of professionalism.  This role will provide assistance to the Head of Sport and would suit a well organised, motivated, sports loving and flexible person with a positive approach to work, who can make strong links with other schools for regular fixtures and anticipate the needs of the department.

They will need to respond quickly in this busy environment and have a love and passion for sport.  Experience working in an independent school is desirable but not essential.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and highly adaptable individual with excellent organisational, communication, time-management and workload planning skills. This must be underpinned, at all times, by confidentiality and diplomacy.


The successful candidate must be self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and be a team player who will nurture and develop skills and enthusiasm throughout the school.

Upton House School is a independent co-educational preparatory school in Windsor, Berkshire. The school was first opened in 1936, and is located on a one acre site in the centre of Windsor. In 2008 the two-storey facility Little Upton was opened, containing pre-nursery and nursery rooms with access to an outdoor play area. There are approximately 295 students on the school roll. Upton House is denominationally Christian, and is a registered charity.
