Chichester High School is a thriving (11-18) which is committed to excellent quality in our teaching, high standards in our pastoral care and an inspiring enrichment curriculum for our students.   There is a team of extraordinary teachers who work together to get the very best from the students of Chichester.

The Business Studies Department is a strong, department with dedicated individual, and suite of classrooms, who are committed to improving progression rates from KS2 to KS5.  Students are passionate about the subject and we have a large number of students opting at both KS4 and KS5 every year. 

We are looking to recruit an innovative Head of Department to lead the Business Studies department with the aim of raising standards at all levels. The successful candidate must have vision, determination, energy and enthusiasm to lead others to raise standards. We are looking for a leader who is an excellent classroom practitioner, able to inspire our students and to build the necessary skills for their future careers and has experience teaching at KS3, 4 and 5, ideally with experience at delivering the BTEC. 

The School has been recognised within The Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT) as being a centre of excellent practice in CPD. Staff have a wide range of high quality CPD opportunities on offer throughout the year so we are able to create a tailored CPD programme for you to ensure your successful career progression.

Our sixth form has been rated as outstanding by Ofsted and every year we have students gaining places at Oxford or Cambridge and other Russell group Universities. We are based in the centre of Chichester, a beautiful Cathedral City on the South coast of England.  As an academic institution, we recognise the importance of investing in our staff and offer:
