The School

Marymount International School Paris is a leading private Catholic school for children aged 2 -15. The school is based in the leafy suburb of Neuilly sur Seine in Paris and has been 'educating hearts and minds' since 1923 when it was founded by the RSHM.

We play an active part in the Global Network of RSHM Schools and benefit from close partnerships with our schools across the world. The school is multi-cultural, diverse and inclusive.

The Role

As Head of Finance and Business, you will play a pivotal role within the school’s senior leadership team, provide leadership of high quality services, build service-oriented teams, and instil a service culture across the school. You will report to the Head of School and work closely with the school’s senior leadership team. You will be flexible, innovative, supportive and a strong team player.

As a key senior leader you will lead on finance, people management, project management, payroll, catering, facilities, security IT, estates, health and safety, and other areas including compliance.

This is an exciting opportunity to play an integral part in the school's success by enhancing operations and infrastructure to deliver educational excellence. You will be involved in the strategic planning process, implantation and shape future review.  The school is well resourced and has a highly motivated staff and senior team.

The Post Holder

You should possess a proven track record of outstanding leadership of operational excellence; ideally in a school. However, applications will be considered from outstanding applicants who can demonstrate comparable skills and excellent track records in other relevant disciplines.

To be successful you will need to be a skilled multi-disciplinary team leader. You will have excellent people and team-building skills, and demonstrate strong financial and business acumen. You must be a fluent English speaker, and have the ability to work in French and English.

This role will suit a professional with outstanding business and finance skills and a dedication to working in a non-profit private school.

You should be committed to personal professional development and be committed to developing your own skills in School Business Management through formal and informal qualifications and training; such as the ISBL standards.
