An exciting opportunity has become available for an outstanding teacher who has the ability to inspire and enthuse students of all abilities.  You will lead a vibrant department which has seen significant growth in recent years, offering Business and Economics courses up to A level with consistently strong results and positive value-added outcomes.

In addition to the responsibilities of a teacher, as Head of Department you will devise and execute an inspiring strategic development plan, enhancing the teaching and learning in the department and building on it's already excellent reputation and results.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Economics or a Business related subject with proven experience in teaching Economics or Business to A level and who is looking to progress to a Head of Department position.

St Edmund's School is an independent, co-educational day and boarding school with c. 570 pupils from the ages of 3 to 18.  The Pre-Prep, Junior, and Senior Schools are on the same green field site and are closely integrated using the same Chapel, music and art facilities, dining hall, science laboratories and sports hall.   The broad age range enhances the mutually supportive, family atmosphere that defines the school, where every pupil and staff member is known and valued.
