HEAD OF BUSINESS STUDIES

Salary circa £60k - depending on experience.  Required for April 2021

The Governors of this highly successful and over-subscribed mixed 11-18 Specialist Science College are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and exceptional teacher to the above role.

St Gregory’s has been identified by OFSTED in March 2019 as an outstanding school in all areas of its practice; by the DfE as a Lead Behaviour School and by the SSAT as a High Attaining School. Our latest Progress 8 Score (in 2019) was + 0.39; whilst at A Level, 69% of students achieved A*-B grades. 

The Business Studies Department is successful across Key Stages 4 & 5 with a large uptake at GCSE & A Level. We also deliver OCR Level 3 Cambridge courses. The successful candidate will be supported in a strong and well-resourced department. All rooms have interactive whiteboards, excellent resources (including access to an IT suite) and the services of an administrative assistant.
