Business Studies is a consistently popular option choice at GCSE, with approximately 120 students across four classes studying the subject in Year 10 and four in Year 11. We also have a further four classes across Years 12 and 13. Examination results for Business Studies are well above national averages and are expected to continue on an upward trend. 

Hinchley Wood is an inclusive and high achieving school on the borders of SW London, celebrating student progress and development as well as academic achievement. We are one of the top 200 performing schools in England and Wales in terms of the progress our students make between the end of Key Stage 2 and their GCSEs, and highly sought after. Our Progress 8 figure has been significantly positive: +0.87 in 2022, +1.0 in 2020 and 2021 and +0.74 in 2019.

The successful candidate will teach across the age and ability range in this highly sought after 11-18 co-educational academy, with over 1,400 students on roll including 275 in our Sixth Form. You would be joining a supportive, committed and experienced team who work hard to deliver innovative and enjoyable lessons.  In return for your hard work, you will receive exceptional support and training, and the rewards that come with teaching students who really want to learn.

Hinchley Wood School is a comprehensive coeducational secondary school based in Surrey, for students between the ages of 11 and 18. It gained academy status in 2012 and multi academy status in 2019 - Hinchley Wood Learning Partnership.  In October 2019 Hinchley Wood Primary School joined the Partnership.
