Governors are seeking to appoint a subject leader for our Business Studies faculty. This is an ideal opportunity for an outstanding teacher to join an experienced faculty with a proven track record of results that have exceeded national expectations over the last two years. 

We require an enthusiastic, hardworking, conscientious and energetic individual. You need to have extremely high expectations and will be ensuring children achieve to the best of their ability, regardless of their background. Either a proven track record of achieving successful outcomes at KS3, KS4 and KS5 or a testimony towards making a significant impact in your time within the profession are key ingredients that we are looking for to enhance our Business Studies team even further.

The Ken Stimpson Community School is a mainstream, state-community, co-educational, non-denominational, secondary school for children aged 11-18. It is situated in Peterborough in Cambridgeshire and there are 1020 pupils on its roll.

As a single site school it has very good facilities, some of which are shared with the local district library and recreational centre. The school also benefits from a two-court floodlit Astroturf area and extensive playing fields.

Pupils are making good progress in a range of subjects including English and mathematics. Teachers consistently apply the school’s marking policy. As a result of precise feedback, pupils are able to improve their work in order to make good progress. Pupils’ behaviour around the school is impressive. They mix well and move around the school in an orderly and calm manner.”
