Tes is supporting the appointment of a Head of Business Studies to join a Academy based in Walsall.
Are you an enthusiastic and motivated teacher of Business Studies?
Are you ready for the challenge of leading the development of Business Studies?
The Academy are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified professional who is both passionate and knowledgeable to teach and lead the development of Business Studies. This post will include a subject leadership responsibility (TLR 1a), in subjects with strong uptake in examination courses with potential for further growth in the future.
The Academy is one of the oldest educational establishments in Walsall, is well-respected and valued by the community it serves. They operate on a very collaborative approach to school improvement working with a range of other schools and nationally recognised trainers. The school is very proud of the family ethos which pervades all aspects of its work, which is grounded in Christian values. The school has recently been awarded the Rights Respecting Schools Silver Award, demonstrating their commitment to embedding the principles of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child into their ethos and curriculum.
