A dynamic teacher is required to join our well-resourced, committed and innovative Science Faculty, to lead the Chemistry department. The successful candidate should be able to inspire and motivate pupils through a diverse range of learning styles and will teach Chemistry at GCSE and A Level. As Head of Department, they will manage the teaching and learning of Chemistry, including supporting and mentoring teachers and technicians, whilst promoting the importance and value of the subject within the school. The successful candidate will also liaise with the Head of Science over all aspects of Chemistry teaching, which contributes to the Science department’s excellent reputation.

Founded in 1993, the school is co-educational and set in 25 acres of ground with excellent facilities. A willingness to assist with a large range of extra curricular activities is important in this dynamic and vibrant school.
