Loreto Grammar School is an 11-18 Roman Catholic Grammar School for Girls with Academy status located in Altrincham, in the Borough of Trafford. It is a thriving, successful and over-subscribed school, judged as “Outstanding” by Ofsted and by the Diocese of Shrewsbury.

The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a Head of Chemistry join our successful Science Department. The appointed applicant will be expected to teach at all Key Stages and to commit to the ethos and values of the school.

Loreto Grammar School is a selective Roman Catholic girls' secondary with sixth form, situated in Altrincham, Cheshire. It is supported by a single-academy trust, the Loreto Grammar School Trust, and is part of a network of 120 Loreto schools across the world, with strong links to international schools in countries such as India, Australia and Germany. It provides a total of 1,040 places for students aged 11-18.

The school was founded in 1909 by the Sisters of Loreto, and assumed academy status in August 2012.
