Orchard Hill College is an Academy sponsor of 15 Special Education Needs (SEN) schools and academies in London, Surrey, Sussex and Berkshire. To become an Academy sponsor, Orchard Hill College established Orchard Hill College Academy Trust (the Trust) in 2013. Together Orchard Hill College & Academy Trust provide for over 1500 pupils and students with a wide range of learning abilities and additional needs. You will need to: 

  • be an ambitious, proven leader and have an excellent track record of successful management responsibility;  
  • hold QTS or QTLS, have significant experience of good/outstanding teaching of students who have SEND 
  • have significant experience, knowledge and delivery of the education and training for students with a wide range of complex SEND be a highly capable leader, with a clear sense of vision, strategic thinking and purpose; 
  • have recent and relevant experience of highly effective leadership and a strong track record in raising standards; 
  • be collegiate, responsive, highly approachable and have the ability to inspire colleagues, students and their families; 
  • be fully committed to developing achieving life changing outcomes for students.
