You will be expected to play a key role in developing the strategic vision for Ebbsfleet Academy even further whilst ensuring that our students develop their potential, achieve academic success and develop our core values. Do you want to transform lives? Are you ready for a challenge? Do you want to work in an academy that is fast becoming the number one school of choice in the local community and has improved results by over 30% in three years, with a 5A*- C figure last summer of 56%? Do you want to join a hardworking and passionate team of staff in an academy characterised by high aspirations, academic excellence and exemplary behaviour? Do you want to work in a school that has a firm discipline and crystal clear rules (that are enforced) alongside a strong current of care, encouragement and reward?

Ebbsfleet Academy opened in September 2013; we are on a journey to become an over-subscribed school that children walk to, with their friends, where they enjoy coming and a school of which they feel proud. We are building an ethos that creates a belief that we can all achieve our goals and better our futures. We are developing independent, resilient and respectful individuals, who are ready to learn for themselves. We want all our students to achieve the highest qualifications they can, but also to fulfil all their potential, academic and personal, sporting, creative and artistic. We want our pupils to leave school as well-rounded, confident young people, with an awareness of the wider world, and a desire and ambition to play an active part in it, all of which is encapsulated in Ebbsfleet Academy’s motto - Aspire and Excel!

We are a dynamic and successful 11-18 academy serving the local community. We have students of all abilities and from a wide variety of backgrounds, all of whom contribute to the richness of our school population.

Our curriculum is based around the needs of our students and consists of a rich blend of academic and vocational qualifications, all supported by fantastic learning resources

We are extremely proud of our record to date, of our constantly improving results and of our 'Good' Ofsted outcome (October 2019). We have a clear commitment to the highest of expectations and achievement for all, with an excellent team of committed staff and outstanding facilities.

Our ambition is to ensure that all of our students achieve their potential, develop as courteous, confident and capable young people and leave with an education that has fully equipped them to go on to university or the career of their choice.

Values and vision

To be an outstanding community academy, whose focus is on learning, as well as on personal and social development, and to be ambitious for all regardless of circumstance.

At Ebbsfleet Academy our aim is to get the best out of every student; excellence in teaching and learning is therefore at the heart of our work. Our vision is based on three core values: ‘Be Ready, Work Hard, Be Nice’. In working towards instilling these values in our students, we strive to provide a safe, healthy and stimulating environment for all.
