Creative Education Trust seeks an experienced and energetic professional to beHead of Compliance and Clerk to the Board. The role is a senior one in the Chief Executive’s office and will be responsible for all aspects of policy development and operational delivery of our data protection function, including ensuring conformity with GDPR requirements and handling SAR and FOI requests. 

The postholder will also act as Clerk to the Board of Directors and Company Secretary, providing advice to the Chair and the Chief Executive on governance matters, including statutory obligations and ESFA guidance, managing an effective clerking service for the Board and its Committees, and ensuring that statutory filings are made in accurate and timely fashion. 

You will line manage the Governance & Compliance Administrator and the Chief Executive’s Personal Assistant. Previous senior experience in both main aspects of the role is essential.
