Head of Computing and E-Learning

We require a well-qualified and dynamic Head of Computing and E-Learning as we look to expand our current department. You will be passionate about supporting young people into STEM opportunities and you will be keen to contribute to our whole school e-safety and e-learning development. You will work directly with all staff to embed good practice. The successful candidate must be able to teach across all Key Stages (3 to 5) and we are keen to support the development of a newly forged partnership with the National Centre for Computing Education. 

QEGS is a high achieving, oversubscribed 11-18 comprehensive converter academy. The school is The North London hub of the National SCITT for training Maths and Physics teachers. We offer excellent CPD opportunities, in-house, through external partnership and national programmes. The school is a founder member of the International Coalition of Girls’ Schools with 550 girls’ schools across 21 countries globally, representing more than 350,000 students.
