An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Head of Computing and ICT, to join a dynamic and popular department as soon as possible, but ideally from January 2020. Our Computing and ICT department is an energetic and exciting environment with many industry links and STEAM initiatives. It has grown in strength with the current team and we are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual who will lead the department’s current teaching and learning strategies and develop their own teaching practice with our support. Our next Head of Department will inspire and engage our students and actively lead and promote Computing and ICT both within and beyond the School community. Applications are welcomed from experienced practitioners and particularly from those seeking additional responsibility. The ability to teach across the range of key stages including Sixth Form and IB Programme is desirable. A willingness to participate in co-curricular activities is also required. This position could be a full time or part time opportunity, flexible hours can be offered to the right candidate.
