Head of Computing and ICT (Technology) required for a well-performing friendly Secondary Academy based in Doncaster.

Tes is currently seeking an ambitious Head of Computing and ICT (Technology) for a well-renowned, outstanding school seeking to expand its successful Technology Department.

The role will include management of the teaching and coordinating the delivery of Computing and ICT at KS3 and KS4/KS5. You will direct and manage the ICT and Computer Science Faculty to enhance provision and will get the chance to get involved with SLT link project work throughout the year for whole school improvement.

The school expects:

  • a UK teaching qualification such as PGCE/PGDE, SCITT, BEd or MEd with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • a relevant BSc/MSc in Computing/Computer Science/ICT or a related subject
  • previous experience of delivering Computing/ICTat GCSE and preferably A-level
