The Post

We are looking to appoint a Head of Computing at Ashfold School for September 2024. The successful candidate will be genuinely passionate about their subject and be able to inspire and instil a love of Computing in the children through their teaching.

An experienced Computing teacher, you will naturally possess outstanding technical, teaching and communication skills. You will become part of the wider dynamic teaching team and will display your passion for fostering and promoting an enthusiasm for a love of learning and creativity amongst children at the school.

The School

Ashfold is a leading independent prep school for approximately 300 boys and girls aged 3–13 years. The School is set in a beautiful Jacobean mansion with its own 30-acre estate on the edge of the village of Dorton in the Buckinghamshire countryside, close to Thame, Oxford, Bicester and Aylesbury.

Alongside an excellent all-round education, we pride ourselves in offering children a wealth of opportunities to participate in sports, the arts, drama and music, as well as a wide variety of extra-curricular activities. The school week runs from Monday to Friday, and we offer optional boarding up to four nights a week, as well as a rich and varied extra-curricular programme.
