HEAD OF COMPUTING

Required for September 2018

RHS seeks to appoint an inspirational and innovative practitioner to the position of Head of Computing. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to have a significant input into the development of the subject from inception. The role will entail designing and implementing a curriculum that reflects a vision for computing within the school.

The successful candidate will be an experienced teacher who has a successful record of delivering Computer Science at GCSE, if not beyond. They will be fully committed to developing the school’s provision in computing, both in the classroom and through extracurricular activities. This role will grow as the curriculum develops from inception in 2018-19, thus the ability to offer a second subject in the short term is essential.

Candidates will have the energy and enthusiasm required to commit to a large boarding and day school.

RHS has its own salary scale, outstanding development opportunities and subsidised accommodation may be available.
