The job holder’s responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young person’s for whom s/he is responsible, or with whom s/he comes into contact will be to adhere to and ensure compliance with the relevant Cognita Safeguarding; Child Protection Policy and Procedures at all times. If in the course of carrying out the duties of the role, the job holder identifies any instance that a child is suffering or likely to suffer significant harm either at school or at home, s/he must report any concerns to the School’s Child Protection Officer/Designated Safeguarding Lead or to the Head of indeed to the Regional CEP so that a referral can be made accordingly to the relevant third part services.

Head of Curriculum 

The Head of Curriculum at Woodland Pre-Schools works closely with General Manager/Deputy General Manager and Senior/Lead Teachers of all the school to organize and develop school curriculum. The Head of Curriculum is involved in the implementation and organization of the program. Besides collaborating with Head of Schools, the Head of Curriculum should communicate directly with all members of the teaching team, and be involved in-school and out-of-school professional development.


Requirement:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent is required
  • Previous experience and demonstrated skill in Curriculum coordination. 
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills including presentation and facilitation skills
  • Knowledge and experience in Pre-School Education
  • Curriculum development knowledge and understanding is required – including that of fusing standards-based learning with the EYFS and Montessori 
  • Possess highly developed interpersonal and teamwork skills.
