They will have a strong track record of delivering outstanding results at GCSE and the professional skills to develop excellent language skills in KS3 to support GCSE study across the curriculum.

Our curriculum is designed to build a love of reading and language, as much as to develop skills and knowledge required to succeed in the modern world and global communities. Our new Head of Communications will drive and support this vision within the department and through whole school opportunities.

We offer a wide range of professional development opportunities and the chance to work within a supportive Trust with wider opportunities for sharing good practice. We have a track record of recognising potential and developing leadership within school with internal promotion and other opportunities.

The school is located in the heart of the National Forest and on the edge of the Peak District, and close to major cities. We are really excited to be part of the school rebuilding programme and the opportunity that will offer to further improve our school and the life chances we provide for our students.
