Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational leader to head up our Level 3 Development department. We want you to inspire students to understand and love their subject, achieve outstanding results and become equipped to join the screen industries or progress to higher education when they leave us. The successful candidate will have responsibility in leading, developing and managing the Level 3 Development Department which all 750 students study whilst at LSA. The Development department aims to introduce all students to the fundamentals of developing Film and TV projects including creating story ideas, scripting and breakdown, understanding logistics and finances of production. The candidate will have overall responsibility for the progress, completion and attainment for students in this department. They will line manage a team of teachers delivering on the course and will support with the curriculum development. We are keen to hear from teachers with backgrounds in industry, as this course will have a strong industry focus with students working to create moving image work that is to industry standards.
