Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational leader to head up our new Production Management department. We want you to inspire students to understand and love their subject, achieve outstanding results and become equipped to join the screen industries or progress to higher education when they leave us. The successful candidate will have responsibility in leading, developing and managing the Production Management Department which is a new pathway students can choose and has been designed in response to industry demand in both scripted and unscripted productions. The Production Management department aims to introduce all students to the fundamentals including Assistant Directing, Locations and Line Producing over two years of the course with the option for students to progress onto a one year Level 4 course at LSA. The candidate will have overall responsibility for the progress, completion and attainment of students in this department. They will line manage a team of teachers delivering on the course and will support with the curriculum development. We are keen to hear from teachers with backgrounds in industry, as this course will have a strong industry focus with students working to create moving image work that is to industry standards.
