Head of department – Science 

Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba is inviting applications for a driven and passionate Head of Science to lead our highly successful department from August 2024. 

 Our heads of department are responsible for leading and managing teaching and learning, assessment and curriculum design in their subject areas. We expect our middle leaders to drive our school culture of kindness, skills, never give up attitude and ambition through their departments, resulting in successful learners who positively contribute to our whole school community

Requirements and Experience:

  • Outstanding Science Teacher 
  • Hold Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the teaching Subject or equivalent 
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent 
  • Able to teach consistently inspirational lessons and a track record/ability to deliver results at GCSE/BTEC/A Level 
  • Experience of Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures 
  • A commitment to the well-being of staff and young people
