We are seeking to appoint a leader of our Design and Technology Department who is a Resistant Materials specialist as well as a creative practitioner who will further develop a technology hub at our school. Central Foundation is located on the Old Street Silicon Roundabout and at the heart of the Tech City, which offers a range of amazing opportunities for our students. Experience in a managerial capacity and of leading curriculum development is desirable but not essential.

It is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious and creative individual who is passionate about technology. The department is very well resourced. The Resistant Materials room is fully resourced with workshop machinery including wood and metal lathes. There are 2 part-time technicians working in the department.

Rated outstanding by Ofsted in February 2015, Central Foundation is one of the top performing schools in the country based on GCSE outcomes. We are very ambitious in our aim to provide the best possible opportunities for our students. We set high standards for all professionals working at the school but we also provide a very strong net of support for both new and existing colleagues.

The behaviour of students is outstanding and the disciplined environment allows the teachers to focus on delivering great academic outcomes.
