Design and Technology plays a significant part in the life of the school in order to provide opportunities for pupils of all abilities and aspirations to play an active role at an appropriate level; our DT room is an outstanding facility in which to teach pupils the theoretical and practical aspects of DT. We offer lessons from Year 2 upwards as part of the curriculum, in addition to having a well-established Scholarship programme.
We are looking to appoint a dynamic and forward-thinking Head of Design & Technology, who has the expertise and vision to lead this vibrant department at Repton Prep. The successful applicant will have the ability to use their talents to help enrich the quality of DT opportunities available to pupils, be a role model, and play a full part in the engaging life of our day and boarding school. As the Head of Design & Technology, they will drive the strategy forwards for this flourishing department and enjoy a close and collaborative relationship with the Senior School.
A willingness to be involved in all aspects of day-to-day life in a busy boarding prep school is essential. All staff are involved in the close pastoral care of our pupils, and the role will report directly to the Senior Management Team, and ultimately the Head.
The role is required from September 2024 and we invite applications from experienced Teachers.

About Repton School
Repton School, founded in 1557, is a leading co-educational School situated in the historic village of Repton. Five miles from Burton upon Trent and eight miles from Derby, Repton lies in the very centre of England. About Repton Preparatory School
Repton Prep is co-educational boarding and day school with over 400 pupils, aged from 3 to 13, set in the fifty-acre grounds of an eighteenth century Palladian mansion in South Derbyshire.
