We seek to appoint a full-time, well-qualified and dynamic Head of Design and Technology from April 2020, the start of the summer term, to lead a highly successful department in a selective school that has been rated by Ofsted as outstanding for over a decade.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate with a vision for the increasing relevance of Design and Technology skills in our rapidly-changing world. The successful candidate will offer skills under the wide umbrella of Design Technology but will have particular expertise to lead the department in Resistant Materials and make cross-curricular STEM links. The candidate will have a proven experience of strong teaching, working successfully with students of a range of abilities across all three key stages. All students follow the IB Diploma (International Baccalaureate) in the Sixth Form; if you have A level experience you will soon be at home teaching the IB.
