We are seeking a suitably qualified, dynamic educator to fill the Middle Leadership position - Head of Design Technology. This is a Tier 3 position with 6 hours release time per week. This is a full-time continuing teaching appointment, with an initial two-year appointment as Middle Leader to the end of the current triennium. Two subsequent three-year appointments as Middle Leader will be offered following a successful performance review.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate commitment to Excellence in Learning and Teaching, a commitment to Excellence in leading and forming staff and students and a commitment to Excellence in ensuring student voice and feedback is embedded in regular practice.

A student focused mindset will be evident in the successful candidate’s ability to articulate their experience in working to create an environment where, in partnership with families, they have worked to support students to discover their spark, discover their strength and discover their spirit.

Experience working within a Responsible Thinking Process framework would be advantageous.

  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
  • hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
