We are seeking an exceptional candidate who will lead and drive innovation initiatives within our digital operations with a focus on an engaging and exciting experience for all pupils and staff. Your role will include modelling effective teaching practices to BPET teachers, demonstrating how to integrate technology seamlessly into the classroom to deliver high-quality educational experiences.

This role will provide the post holder with the opportunity to work closely with the Senior Leadership Teams within the schools and shape the digital strategy for the future, aiming to elevate the learning experience for all pupils and enhancing educational outcomes and fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment. You will be responsible for identifying emerging technologies, trends, and opportunities in the digital space, and translating them into actionable plans to enhance the BPET’s competitive position and drive value creation. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Head of Digital Innovation will foster a culture of creativity, experimentation and continuous improvement, driving digital transformation efforts and spearhead initiatives to improve stakeholder experiences and optimise business processes.

Develop and implement a digital innovation strategy aligned with the educational vision and goals.

·       Lead the development and implementation of the digital innovation strategy, aligning it with  objectives and market trends.

·       Model effective teaching practices to BPET teachers, demonstrating how to integrate technology seamlessly into the classroom to deliver high-quality educational experiences.

·       Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and digital tools that can enhance teaching and learning outcomes.

·       Drive the ideation, development and implementation of digital platforms, learning management systems and education software across the organisation.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including educational and central teams, to integrate digital innovation efforts across the organisation.

·       Design and deliver training programs to support staff in effectively integrating digital technologies into teaching practices.

·       Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation among teachers and staff members.

·       Collaborate with curriculum leaders to integrate digital resources and tools into lesson plans and educational programs.

·       Ensure that digital innovation aligns with curriculum objectives and enhances student engagement and achievement.

·       Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights, build support, and drive alignment for digital innovation initiatives.

·       Identify and mitigate risks associated with digital innovation projects, including technical, financial and regulatory risks.

·       Ensure that digital innovation aligns with curriculum objectives and enhances student engagement and achievement.

·       Utilise data analytics and insights to inform digital innovation strategies and evaluate the impact of technology on educational outcomes.

·       Implement systems for collecting and analysing data related to student performance, engagement, and digital learning experiences.

·       Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the security and privacy of digital systems and student data.

·       Provide guidance and training on digital safety practices for students, staff, and parents.

·       Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the performance and impact of digital innovation initiatives, and regularly report progress to senior leadership.

·       Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in all digital innovation activities and initiatives.

Bellevue Place Education Trust (BPET) is a multi academy trust which operates eleven primary schools across London and Berkshire, with a total of 3,300 pupils. Our registered address is in Balham, but our Central Team is based in Kilburn.
